BINGO

I adopted Bingo, now actually named Guss (Guss-Guss). He is a wonderful cat; I fell in love with him as soon as I looked at him. He settled in to our home like he was born there. We took him to the Vet right away and he is in perfect health. I greatly appreciate all of the work you do! He had a wonderful temperament, great coat of fur and of course healthy. He eats like a little piggy though! We couldn’t be happier to have him. I wish I could have taken more home!

KEESHA

Wanted you to see how pretty Keesha looks while playing in the snow. Christmas Eve, I attended candlelight service at church.  While I was away, someone tried to break into my apartment by attempting to kick in my door.  I can only imagine the look on their face when they heard Keesha's vicious barking on the other side of the door.  Needless to say, their burglary attempt was foiled.  Keesha doesn't allow strangers in when her "Mama" isn't home.  God love that precious girl.  If it hadn't been for her I would have been totally cleaned out.   I once read "The chow has many noble qualities.  Her heart cannot be taken by storm,  but, once given, it is yours forever."  Keesha is a loyal, lovable chow.   Thank you so much for bringing her into my life.   May God bless you, your staff and all the wonderful pets at Tails A Waggin.  Hope to see you soon

TUG

We adopted "TUG" at the Noblesville store 3 weeks ago. He is the best cat! He is so lovable, playful and so well behaved. We have not had a bit of trouble with him or one single problem. From the first night we brought him home, he has made this his home. He is so comfortable and so happy. We spoil him rotten. He has lots of toys and a new kitty condo that he sits on in front of the patio door and watches outside for hours. He sleeps at the foot of our bed and watches over us all night. He loves to be petted and cuddled. He lays on your chest and falls asleep... so sweet. He loves to play and hide in his cardboard box and tug on the string that's attached. He chases around his ball all over the house and is so much fun. He has two favorite blankets that he loves to lay on and "knead" his paws. He is very, very happy and so are we.

We just love him and are so happy to have him as part of our family. It was destiny that he came into our lives. Thank you so much!

ALEX

Dear Jane,

I wanted to send you this note to thank you for caring for me for the last two years. You have been wonderful. If it wasn't for you I would have never been able to find this wonderful home. My first night home I went to my grandma's for an hour and met my two uncles, Jackson and Tucker, they are Pembroke Corgi's. It was love at first sight. They taught me how to run in the back yard. I ran like I have never run before. I also learned that my uncles make wonderful hurdles and they don't seem to be too annoyed with me jumping over them time and time again.

My first night wasn't scary at all. I slept in a crate that was safe, but was not quite big enough, so yesterday my mommy and daddy bought me the largest crate they could find at Petsmart and I love it. I enjoy getting in here all by myself just to sleep, although I do get to watch Sports Center with my dad in the bed before I sleep at night. It's the best bedtime story EVER! We have been staying at the apartment, so I get alone time, but we go to grandma's each day to run and play in the yard. In less than two weeks I will have my own back yard which is even bigger. I wake up at 7:30 each morning and we go for long walks. I have marked the entire world in the last two morning walks.

I have had no accidents in the apartment and just one minor leak at my grandma's where one of my uncles left a scent, but other than that I even tell my mommy and daddy when I have to go outside.

Yesterday my mommies nephew and I went to feed the ducks at the lake and I was very impressed with these guys. I chose not to chase them or bark, but instead, sat patiently waiting while the little boy fed the ducks that were only 4ft away. I am such a good dog!

Well, I have to go now Jane. My daddy is lying in the middle of the floor and I love rolling over him as he showers me with love. Thanks again for helping me find this wonderful home. We will definitely come visit.

Love Always, Alex

BART & CINDY

Dear Jane, Anita and all our family at Tails a Waggin' Rescue,

We wanted to let you know how we are doing in our new home! Things started off a little rough -- everything was new and very scary, including an ice maker, microwave oven, new food bowls, a garage door which opens/closes, a doggie door, car rides, and CATS! We went to the groomer and each received an A+ from them we were so well-behaved. The vet said we were in excellent condition, and we had senior wellness exams which confirmed that all our blood levels are normal. We are now on Heartgard and flea/tick preventative -- yuck!

Everyday we are learning new things and getting less and less afraid. In fact, we are now so confident that we bark when strangers approach our yard! We're both okay with being separated as well, and sometimes one of us will want to go inside with Mommy while the other stays playing in the yard. We are already housebroken -- we never had an accident in the house! We sleep in our crate next to Mommy's bed and now can make it through the entire night! We are both very good with the cats after a couple of nips at Trinity by Bart. But now we are all getting along just fine and they are no longer scared of us or us of them. In fact, Trinity has already rubbed up against Cindy she loves her new dog sister so much!

Our new dog trainer is coming this week to start working with us. We are excited to continue learning and growing! Mommy says that we are just the PERFECT additions to her pack!

Thank you all for keeping us healthy and safe all those years so that we could finally get to a house with a yard to run around in and a Mommy who loves us to pieces!

Love, Bart & Cindy

BOBBIE

Bobbi is doing great.  She is full of energy and loves spending time with the grandkids and her ball.   She has adapted very well and is very protective of our house.  We took her to training and found out that she knew more than what they were teaching.  She is a blessing to our family.  Thank you for keeping her safe until we came along.

RAMBO

Hi, Jane....my husband and I adopted a cocker spaniel from your group at last September's "Zionsville Fall Festival..." we call him "Rudy" now, but he was "Rambo/Rabian" when you had him....he's about 10 years old, and one of the sweetest, friendliest dogs we've ever had! Thank you so much for rescuing him! We are blessed to have Rudy in our family!

ROCKY

Hi everyone and Jane,

Well it has been three yrs since we adopted aka "rocky" now known as Ben-Jam`in He is doing good still. He spends his time wisely. When we are gone he watches the house closley. We know this because he knows when we get home and we can hear him yelling with excitement as we watch him jump up and down in front of the window.

At the door we can not even get one foot in for he has two out and making us love on him. He is so smart he can even spell!!!! If we spell the word "OUT" his ears perk up and he jumps down off the couch and heads for the door.

Although at first he is very scared of new people, once he warms up he is on their lap. He goes a lot of scent, if he smells a new person and he is comffy with them , the next time he remembers who they are and runs up to them for attention. As you might remember when we came for santa pics he knew you from your scent and was all over you.

I did tell my husband I was gonna give Ben my wedding ring to ware on his collar because the dogs gets the first hugs, kiss <<<oh yeah! It is my husbands dog. Not bad for a dog who isn`t fond of many men. This picture is of My father "BEING" excepted by BEN! After a few hours of visiting grandpa he decided he liked him and all the sudden sat between his legs and allowed my dad (who by the way "USE" to be terrified by pit - mix or not!!!) to pet and hug on him. Ever since my dad just gave him his space to get comffy with all the new things around him he remembers and loves visiting Ohio. He sits between everyone he likes when they come over. The grandkids he just knocks them down trying to get between their short little legs and they laugh. My one granddaughter gets two stools and let him go between her...Kids can think of the funniest things.

He doesn`t care for the grandkids when they are young but we found that once they get to 4/5 yr he begins to trust them more. We are very careful when they come over and have taught them to allow him space. My granddaughter loves him but he wasn`t sure of her when she was falling all over herself learning to walk or squakng learning to talk. Now she is 5 and he just goes crazy when she visits and loves to see her.

His girlfriend ( our other dog) has had some health problems but he adores and grooms her like she is a queen and she just soaks it all up. Then wants the same from us too!

I hope everyone has a good day! Yesterday is past today is almost over and we look forward to tomorrow...All my best.....thanks for such a great friend and family member!
