Dogs for Adoption

Gazzy: Rotweiller Mix, Neutered Male, DOB abt 1999

Gazzy was found one afternoon cabled to a structure on the property of Tails a' Waggin' Rescue when a couple of volunteers were returning from lunch. We have no idea how long he had been there since he was well hidden in the weeds and was very quiet. He was scared, confused, hot, hungry & dehydrated. We have not figured out what he did to deserve such fate. He is a wonderful guy who is attentive, curious and playful! He has definitely had some mistreatment in his lifetime and is very leary of new people, especially men. But, once he gets to know you, he is a typical rott who would love to cuddle in you lap.

Ozzy, Basset Mix, Neutered Male, DOB abt 2001

If you've ever had a Basset Hound, you know what a joy they can be. And Ozzy is no exception! He's a five year old who came to IACC as a stray. He was part of a joint adoption event, but when he did not get a home, he came to Tails a' Waggin'. He is a fun guy who is gentle and gets along with everyone.

Sally, Lab Mix, Spayed Female, DOB abt 1998

Sally, oh Sally! This wonderful gal has definitely become a shelter and volunteer favorite. She is an unbelievable gal with a lot of patience and love. Her only downfall: she doesnÕt like other dogs or cats, but she loves people.

She was badly abused before she came to the rescue, and therefore is very cautious of people. She has a very strong will and needs a lot of patience and understanding. She is very affectionate and once she knows you, will look you straight in the eye and give you the most loving and gentle kisses. She is very playful and loves her squeak-toys, but would give them up in a heart beat for a warm and loving household.

Corky, Fox Terrier Mix, Neutered Male, DOB abt 2002

Meet Corky. He is a jack russell mix, neutered male, who is about 3 years old. Corky is a little spitfire who wants to keep up with all activities. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard so he can run and play. He has had some trauma with kids somewhere in his short lifetime and should probably go into a home with older or no children. He is a lovin' little guy but would do best in a single pet household.

Red, American Stafforshire Terrier, Neutered Male, DOB abt 2003

Red is a very sweet boy. He has had some basic obedience training in his past. Red, found tied up to a structure on the property of TWR, came in confused and desperate for love.

He is a great dog and very gentle. He loves people and focuses his attention to his "Person". He gets along with most dogs, but is not too crazy about cats. Please don't judge him by his breed, judge him by his gentle and loving personality! Please take this gentle soul home.

Diega, Manchester Mix, Spayed Female, DOB abt 2005

Wow, am I a little bundle of energy and joy! I am one happy dude, but would do best in a home with a fenced yard for me to run and play in.
